About F.E. Myers and Pentair Myers
The F.E. Myers Company was founded in 1870 in Ashland, Ohio, where it originally manufactured equipment for the agricultural community. Myers later became known for engineering pumps and pumping systems for water supply, wastewater handling, municipal infrastructure, industrial facilities, and other demanding applications.
F.E. Myers joined Pentair in 1986 and today operates as part of the Pentair family of water and fluid-management brands. The Myers product portfolio includes reciprocating, centrifugal, submersible, sewage, grinder, effluent, solids-handling, and specialty pumps.
Merit Pump’s facility in Wooster, Ohio, is located only minutes from Myers operations in Ashland. This proximity and our long-standing relationship with the factory help us provide knowledgeable support for Myers pumps, parts, applications, and legacy equipment.
Myers Pump Product Lines
Myers manufactures pumping equipment for applications ranging from high-pressure industrial service to municipal wastewater handling. Major Myers product categories include reciprocating, centrifugal, submersible, sewage, grinder, and solids-handling pumps.
Myers Reciprocating Pumps
Myers reciprocating pumps are triplex plunger pumps designed to provide controlled, consistent flow in high-pressure applications. These pumps are commonly used in sewer jetting, oil and gas operations, directional drilling, water treatment, power generation, steel production, and general industrial service.
Myers reciprocating pump series include:
- CX Series
- C Series
- D Series

- E Series
Merit Pump can also assist with parts identification, repair support, and replacement options for legacy Myers models, including the BXM, CXP, CPM, and HPL Series.
Myers Aplex Pumps
The Myers product family also includes Aplex triplex and quintuplex reciprocating pumps for demanding, continuous-duty applications. Aplex SC and MA Series pumps are commonly used in oilfield operations, directional drilling, water treatment, industrial cleaning, and other high-pressure pumping systems.
Merit Pump can also provide support for legacy Aplex RO Series pumps.
Myers Centrifugal Pumps
Myers centrifugal pumps are used for water transfer, circulation, pressure boosting, and general industrial service. Available equipment includes single-stage, two-stage, high-pressure, and self-priming pump configurations.
Common Myers centrifugal pump lines include:
- Centri-Thrift and CT Series pumps
- QP Series self-priming pumps
- I2C and I2CI two-stage pumps
- 2C two-stage pumps
These pumps serve municipal, agricultural, industrial, water-treatment, and commercial applications.

- Sewage pumps
- Grinder pumps
- Effluent pumps
- Dewatering pumps
- Sump pumps
- Submersible water pumps
